# Ovation Account

Ovation requires new users to [sign up](https://app.prod.ovationvr.com/signup) for an account. The username and password selected during signup are required each time a user launches Ovation or [signs in](https://app.prod.ovationvr.com/signin) to the Ovation web portal. Users must accept our [EULA](/ovation/legal.md) and [Privacy Policy](/ovation/legal.md) to complete the signup process.

Once an account is successfully created, it must then be [activated.](/ovation/creating-an-account/account-activation.md)
