# Syncing

Syncing ensures that an account’s settings and content, such as recordings, are accessible across any hardware running Ovation.

For instance, if a student visits a school's VR lab and signs into headset #1 to practice a speech, their settings and recordings will be uploaded to the Ovation cloud. Later, if they return and use headset #2 instead, their previously saved settings and content will be synced from the Ovation cloud to the new device.
